This section will explain the chakra's in your body. We have seven main chakras, but actually there are many more. The word chakra means wheel or disk. These are energy points that are connected through out your whole body. Each one has a certain color, stones, and oils that can help you keep these open. The importance of this is more then one may think. You’re asking "Why"? If we do not keep these energy points open then we become blocked. You will then see the human closet get full of clutter. Everything in life connects together. Everything has energy. So if we do not have this energy running smoothly then it causes everything in life to run together. Example, if you're having a problem with a work situation this problem runs into your personal life also. I know what your saying "Well yes, because it is making me have a bad day" If you keep these energy blocks open and keep the human closet flowing freely, then you will see the effect it will have in everyday life. Is it not worth the try? We have so much going on the world today with war, murder, disease and so much more. If it can bring harmony to life then it makes life a wonderful journey!
Chakras are the center of awareness in our bodies. Chakras influences the cells organs and the entire body. They are also the psychic energy center for each and every person.
The term comes from Sanskirt from the ancient India. It means wheel or turning. They revolve continuously. They absorb energy. This energy is from all of our surroundings.
Some have described these as funnel shaped. In ancient India as lotus blossoms, some have said as miniature suns whose light radiates the whole body.
They take energy form the environment (from the world, plants, animals, and other people, sun, moon, entire galaxy)
Each one forms a point for thousand of rays of subtle energy which is directed outward .They serves as a kind of energy station that is transmitted and made available for all ongoing things in ones life
Chakras are for harmony in ones life between inner and outer worlds.
Chakra Seven: Thought, Universal identity, oriented to self-knowledge. This is the crown chakra that relates to consciousness as pure awareness. It is our connection to the greater world beyond, to a timeless, space less place of all-knowing. When developed, this chakra brings us knowledge, wisdom, understanding, spiritual connection, and bliss.
Chakra Six: Light, Archetypal identity, oriented to self-reflection. This chakra is known as the brow chakra or third eye center. It is related to the act of seeing, both physically and intuitively. As such it opens our psychic faculties and our understanding of archetypal levels. When healthy it allows us to see clearly, in effect, letting us "see the big picture."
Chakra Five: Sound, Creative identity, oriented to self-expression. This is the chakra located in the throat and is thus related to communication and creativity. Here we experience the world symbolically through vibration, such as the vibration of sound representing language.
Chakra Four: Air, Social identity, oriented to self-acceptance. This chakra is called the heart chakra and is the middle chakra in a system of seven. It is related to love and is the integrator of opposites in the psyche: mind and body, male and female, persona and shadow, ego and unity. A healthy fourth chakra allows us to love deeply, feel compassion, and have a deep sense of peace and centeredness
Chakra Three: Fire, Ego identity, oriented to self-definition This chakra is known as the power chakra, located in the solar plexus. It rules our personal power, will, and autonomy, as well as our metabolism. When healthy, this chakra brings us energy, effectiveness, spontaneity, and non-dominating power.
Chakra Two: Water, Emotional identity, oriented to self-gratification The second chakra, located in the abdomen, lower back, and sexual organs, is related to the element water, and to emotions and sexuality. It connects us to others through feeling, desire, sensation, and movement. Ideally this chakra brings us fluidity and grace, depth of feeling, sexual fulfillment, and the ability to accept change.
Chakra One: Earth, Physical identity, oriented to self-preservation Located at the base of the spine, this chakra forms our foundation. It represents the element earth, and is therefore related to our survival instincts, and to our sense of grounding and connection to our bodies and the physical plane. Ideally this chakra brings us health, prosperity, security, and dynamic presence
PALM OR HAND CHAKRAS
and emerging chakras
Palm Chakras
The chakras in the palms of the hands are often (incorrectly IMHO) relegated to minor status. These chakras transmit healing energy and receive energetic information from the universe. The palm chakras
are used to channel healing energies to yourself and others and to receive
impressions of the energy of a room, person, situation, etc. Activation and awareness of These chakras makes a major difference in the quality of life. They can often be opened by intention.
Practice in becoming aware of the energy of the palm
chakras is a good place to start if you are at all interested in energy work
and spiritual healing. or in any of the psychic arts.
Healing chakras may also activate in the fingertips and elsewhere in the body.
Transpersonal chakras

The most important change happening at this time is the unification of the
chakra functions all the chakras are beginning to work together much more
than in the past.
When your chakras are blocked you slow down the Chi, the life force, and the spiritual connection. You may feel depressed, out of touch, tired, unable to think clearly, or listless. You may get angry for no reason, be afraid, be unsure of yourself, lack self-confidence, be unhappy without a direct reason, and have a general negative outlook on life. All of these are indications that you have a problem to resolve that is chakra based.
It is important that you try to maintain the correct energy flow through each chakra since you could also negatively be affected by a chakra being too open.
Sit, or lie down, clear you mind. Focus on your in your feet. Use your hands to pull energy up from your feet, through your legs, to the base chakra. Imagine you are gripping energy and pulling it up through you, pulling air and energy into your lungs. Try and imagine your hands are inside your legs and just inside the front of you as you do this.
In Sanskrit chakra means "wheel," and those who can see them describe chakras as spinning wheels of light. They are found in the aura, an electromagnetic force field which surrounds every living being. The energy of the aura is that of our thoughts and feelings, and the chakras concentrate and coordinate the flow of these energies in and from the physical body.
We who use healing modalities based on subtle energy (flower essences, crystals, Reiki) believe that illness first manifests in the realm of thought and feelings. Stress is an excellent example. The mind says, "I'm doing too much; I'm under pressure." This message translates into the emotional feeling of being burdened. On both levels resistance creates energetic blockages form, as mind and emotions try to close up against what is perceived as a negative experience.
If the mind and emotions continue to create resistance the blockage will eventually assume physical proportions, lodging in whichever physical area is most vulnerable.
The purpose of chakra balancing is to dissolve blockages before they become physical (although it can also be helpful with physical conditions. Crystals, being symmetrical in their molecular structure, radiate energy in a consistent and steady manner. When they're used in chakra balancing they can help to reestablish a healing, creative flow.
Each chakra has a color, and usually stones of corresponding colors are placed there. (If you are familiar with the chakras you will note that we use some modifications.
